On one hand i feel proud to be
the friend of a couple so sweet
but on the other i feel bitter because
now i am alone on singlehood’s seat
as fiancé-fiancée you both will be
busy spending time with each other
no longer will you have the time
to hang out, whenever and wherever
so i say goodbye to my friends
who were once, free from the core
now you will have other commitments
that might make life a big chore
