by saying stuff no one else would do
so instead of showing you the brighter side
here are the downsides of being engaged
commitment will bog you both down
you might even feel entrapped and caged
right now everything might seem flowery
you might even give each other mushy names
but soon enough it will turn into a battle zone
each other, you will constantly blame
habits that were once, sweet idiosyncrasies
will now seem irritating and annoying
as the humdrum of daily life takes over
