Interview with Ranveer Singh l Padmaavat l Anupama Chopra

A day after the release of Padmaavat, actor Ranveer Singh talks about how how he got into the headspace of playing an evil character like Alauddin Khilji. It took three weeks of alone time, a diet of red meat and lifting weights to make him play the character convincingly. He also speaks about why this was the most fun he's had filming with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and constructively channeling the rage he felt when the film ran into trouble.
