Supreme Court will pronounce its verdict in the much awaited and politically sensitive Ayodhya land dispute on Saturday. The five judge constitution bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi will be pronouncing its verdict in the Ayodhya dispute at 10.30 am on Saturday. The Supreme Court heard the Ayodhya matter for over 40 days on a daily basis and finished the hearings on October 16 to bring this prolonged dispute to an end. CJI Ranjan Gogoi had reserved the verdict on October 16 and sought time to pronounce verdict in the massively sensitive issue of the Ayodhya land dispute. Fourteen appeals have been filed in the Supreme Court against the 2010 Allahabad High Court judgment, delivered in four civil suits, that the 2.77-acre land in Ayodhya be partitioned equally among three parties -- the Sunni Waqf Board, the Nirmohi Akhara and Ram Lalla.
